Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Remove sensor from exhaust manifold using tool No. C-4589, or equivalent.
2. Clean threads in manifold using an 18 mm X 1.5 X 6E tap.
3. Install new sensor and torque to 20 ft. lbs. If original sensor is to be reinstalled, coat threads with a suitable anti-seize compound. New sensors are pre-coated and need no additional compound.
