6I Distributor Pickup Signal Circuit to Computer


1. Disconnect 10-way connector and distributor connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between cavity 5 of 10-way connector and cavity 3 of distributor engine harness connector.
3. If ohmmeter indicates continuity, replace the computer. Before replacing computer, ensure terminals in cavity 5 are making a good connection.
4. If ohmmeter indicates no continuity repair wire between cavity No. 5 of the 10-way connector and cavity No. 3 of distributor engine harness connector for open circuit.
