Cruise Control: Description and Operation

This Speed Control System is electrically actuated and vacuum operated. The controls are located on the steering wheel and these controls consist of a SET/DECEL, RESUME/ACCEL and ON/OFF buttons. This system is designed to operate at speed exceeding 35 MPH.

To activate the system push ON/OFF button to ON. When desired speed is obtained push the SET/DECEL button to engage system. To deactivate system push ON/OFF button or lightly tap on brake pedal. On models with manual transaxles depressing the clutch pedal will also deactivate system.
