EGR Backpressure Transducer: Service and Repair

EGR Mounting:





NOTE: THE EGR valve and transducer are serviced as an assembly.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the transducer electrical connector and vacuum supply hose.
2. Remove EGR valve mounting bolts.
3. Remove EGR valve and EET assembly

INSTALLATION

1. Clean gasket mating surfaces.
2. Install assembly, with new gasket.
3. Install EGR valve mounting bolts and torque to 200 in-lbs (22 Nm).
4. Connect the transducer electrical connector and vacuum supply hose.
