PURPOSE
Houses Hall Effect pick-up, which sends engine speed and crankshaft position signals to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). PCM uses this input to adjust ignition timing, fuel injection, and idle speed.

Distributes coil secondary voltage to correct spark plug cable, through rotor and distributor cap.
