Pulsair Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Connect hand operated vacuum pump to rubber hose of Pulse Air valve.

NOTE: On V6 and V8 engines, the left and right hand valves must be tested separately.

2. On V6 and V8 engines, disconnect Pulse Air hose from fitting on valve. If used, disconnect Pulse Air solenoid from front valve. Connect vacuum pump directly to valve fitting with hose or hose and stopper combination.
3. Apply 15 inches Hg or greater to valve. If vacuum drops in less than two seconds replace valve.
