The Select Drive System provides two-wheel drive along with full-time four-wheel operation. The Select Drive system components include a new design model 30 front axle with a two-wheel drive disconnect feature, a vacuum control system consisting of two vacuum shift motors, a vacuum storage tank, and all interconnecting vacuum lines, a new model 129 transfer case, and a two/four wheel drive mode selector mounted on the instrument panel. The new Select Drive system is available with four speed manual or automatic transmission.
