NOTE: Preferred setting is the midpoint of range given.

NOTE: Make all adjustments with engine at operating temperature.

Slow Idle
1. Disconnect and plug purge hose at canister and disconnect deceleration valve hose.
2. With E2SE carb., insert dwell meter probes into sockets No. 6 (+) and No. 13 (-) of diagnostic connector.
3. When dwell begins to vary at least 15 degrees adjustments can be made.
4. Remove air cleaner to adjust.
