Starter Motor: Service and Repair
If shims are used to position starter motor, note location of shims, as shims must be reinstalled in the same locations during starter installation.EXCEPT EAGLE 6-258 & 1982---83 4-151
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Disconnect cable from
starter motor terminal.
3.
Remove attaching bolts and remove starter.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
