IGNITION KEY CUTTING INFORMATION


Information


All 1985 Jeep and Eagle models use a new ignition key with letter code J. Code J key blanks are not interchangeable with code L key blanks used on 1984 and prior models.


The following Curtis key cutting equipment is required to cut code J ignition keys.

NOTE: A code book update is available from Curtis Industries,

Part number for the new code J ignition key blank is 8983 501 972.
