Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

The state display function enables the technician to view conditions as they exist at the signal level. When main menu is displayed, selecting state displays option (pressing enter when arrows are pointing to correct function) will change display to systems which are supported in the state display mode.
Selection of the Engine option (pressing enter when arrows are pointing to correct function) will change display to systems which are supported in the engine state display mode. This is the level to check individual sensors, relays, air & coolant temperatures, battery voltage & injector pulse width.
