Control Arm Bushing: Service and Repair
Fig. 7 Control Arm Bushing Installation:
1.
Remove lower control arm, refer to
LOWER CONTROL ARM.
2.
Remove bushings using a suitable press and socket.
3.
Install new bushings using same tools used for removal. Bushings must be installed equally in small increments until dimension E, measures 7.461 to 7.499 and dimension F is the same at both bushings within 0.197 inch.
