Ignition "ON" Relay
Relay Location/Identification:
The ignition "ON"
relay provides power to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) from the ignition switch when the ignition switch is turned to the ON position. This signal tells the ECU to ENERGIZE the B+ (power) latch relay and idle speed regulator. The relay is mounted beneath a labeled cover on the left strut tower. The exact location of the relay is imprinted on the relay cover.
