Test Notes

NOTE: Before starting any tests, ensure that battery is fully charged and that all connections are good then disable ignition system as follows:

1. On models with distributor ignition systems, disconnect ignition coil cable from distributor cap. Connect a suitable jumper wire between coil cable end terminal and a good body ground.
2. On models with direct ignition system, disconnect ignition coils electrical connector.
