Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC):

1. Remove the air cleaner duct from the Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC).
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the mounting screws (2) from the SBEC.
4. Remove the electrical connector from the SBEC.
5. Remove the SBEC from the vehicle.
6. Place the new SBEC in the vehicle and connect the electrical connector.
7. Install the mounting screws.
8. Install the battery and air cleaner duct.
