MANUAL TRANSMISSION
PURPOSE
The ignition switch supplies "ON" and "START" information to the ECM which positions the idle speed control components accordingly.
OPERATION
The ignition switch inputs a high signal to the engine control module while the engine id cranking. The engine control module provides fuel injection control, etc at engine start up based on this signal.
The ignition switch "ON" signal is provided to the ECM through the control relay.
