Ignition Switch Replacement

NOTE: Ignition switch may be replaced without removing steering lock.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove hood lock release handle, instrument panel undercover, meter hood then upper and lower column covers.
3. Remove band securing electrical connector, then disconnect electrical connector.
4. Remove screws attaching ignition switch to ignition lock, then switch from lock assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
