Purge Control System
Purge Control Valve Location:
The
purge control valve, located under the battery, is a dual chamber vacuum/boost operated switch. It opens the port to the canister for purging according to the solenoid operation. The valve opens the passage when vacuum is applied to the lower chamber or boost pressure is applied to the upper chamber.
