Installation of Slide Lever and Key Interlock Cable

Inspection Of Ignition Switch:

1. With the ignition key either at the "LOCK" position or removed, install the slide lever to the steering lock cylinder.

2. Connect, as shown, the key interlock cable to the slide lever and the steering lock cylinder.

3. Apply a light coating of multi-purpose grease where shown.
Grease: MOPAR Multi-mileage Lubricant Part No. 2525035 or equivalent

4. Check whether or not the key interlock system is functioning normally.
