TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

Hint 1: When the camshaft position sensor, is defective, the engine may stall, the idle may be unstable or acceleration faulty as appropriate sequential fuel injection is not carried out.

Hint 2: The camshaft position sensor or engine control module may be defective when the camshaft position sensor outputs a pulsed signal when the ignition switch is turned ON (the engine does not run).
