Vehicle Damage Warnings

OPERATING PRECAUTIONS:

^ Do not operate the fuel pump without fuel.

^ Do not depress the accelerator pedal while trying to start the car.

^ Never operate vehicle on 100 % methanol fuel. (Operate vehicle on unleaded gasoline (minimum posted octane rating of 87), or a mixture of unleaded gasoline (minimum posted octane rating of 87), and up to 85% methanol.)

PARTS REPLACEMENT PRECAUTIONS:

^ Handle all fuel injection related parts with care as they may easily be damaged.

^ Use new gaskets or O-rings when installing fuel lines or injectors.

^ Lightly lubricate O-rings and flare connections with clean 30 weight engine oil. Do not use gear lubricant or brake fluid to lubricate fuel system connections and O-rings.

^ Check for leaks after servicing fuel system.

CAUTION: Methanol will damage components manufactured for gasoline engines. Parts may appear the same, they are not interchangeable. Replace components with FLEXIBLE FUEL replacement parts ONLY. (Parts should be green in appearance or have a green tag or label attached).
