The 1982 EXP/LN7 vehicles built prior to September 4, 1981 were built with gasket type AGSP32 spark plugs. EXP/LN7 vehicles built after September 4, 1981 are equipped with taper seat, AWSF32 spark plugs which feature lower installation torque.

NOTE:
The gasket type AGSP32 plugs and the taper seat type AWSF32 plugs are not interchangeable. The AWSF32 plug has fewer threads and cannot be used in the 1982 EXP/LN7 vehicles built prior to September 4, 1981.

When changing spark plugs in a 1982 EXP/LN7 vehicle, be sure to check the following:

1. Engine Emission Decal: to verify the type of plug installed and proper gap.
2. Plug type being removed to confirm that the replacement plugs are correct.
