1. Disconnect air outlet hose from air meter and position aside, Fig. 14.
2. Remove air intake and outlet hoses from air cleaner.
3. Disengage four spring clamps, then remove air cleaner front cover and filter panel.
4. Remove four air cleaner-to-air meter attaching screws.
5. Separate air cleaner base from air meter. Remove gasket and discard if worn or damaged.
6. Disconnect electrical connector from air meter.
7. Remove two air meter attaching screws and the air meter.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching screws to 6---9 ft. lbs.
