WIRING CONNECTOR AT ATC SENSOR - NEW DESIGN

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1985 TOPAZ

On vehicles built on or after 5/17/85, the ATC sensor connector has been changed to provide a positive locking feature. The new connector cannot be pulled off without prying up the locking tabs with a screwdriver.

CAUTION: Attempting to pull the new ATC sensor connector off without prying up the locking tabs will damage the tabs and replacement of the connector will be necessary.
