Removal and Replacement

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Drain fluid from transfer case by removing drive housing lower lefthand attaching bolt.
3. Remove vacuum line attaching bracket bolt.
4. Remove drive shaft front attaching bolts and caps. Disconnect front of drive shaft from drive yoke.
5. Remove three bolts attaching vacuum motor shield, then the shield.
6. Remove vacuum lines from servo.
7. Support transfer case assembly, then remove transfer case to transaxle attaching bolts.
8. Remove transfer case.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
