Quick Test Description

Key On, Engine Off
A test of the electronic engine control system is conducted with the power applied and the engine off.

Engine Running
A test of the EEC system conducted with the engine running. The sensors are tested under actual operating conditions and at normal operating temperatures.

Continuous Memory Codes
Continuous memory codes are a result of information stored during continuous monitor testing and remain in the memory until erased. There codes are displayed during testing and should be used for diagnosis only during the key on, engine off test.

Switch Monitor Test
A test of input switches made with the engine off and cool.
