Case: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Position transfer housing in case and install attaching bolts.

Transfer Housing Bearing Removal:

2. Remove bearing using bearing puller tool No. T77F-1102-A and slide hammer T50T-100-A or equivalent.
3. Remove transfer housing.

INSTALLATION

Transfer Housing Bearing Installation:

1. With transfer housing removed from case, install bearing using housing bearing replacer tool No. T81P-7738 or equivalent.
2. Ensure housing is supported from underneath while installing bearing.

CAUTION: Transaxle case and transfer housing are matched parts, if one is damaged both must be replaced.
