Fig. 14 Control cable removal tool:

1. Move Max A/C Norm Selector lever to Max A/C position. Using control cable removal tool T83P-18532-AH, Fig. 14, disconnect air inlet cable housing end retainer from A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable from inlet door cam.
2. Move Temperature control lever to Cool position. Using control cable removal tool, disconnect temperature control cable housing and retainer from the A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable from temperature door crank arm.

3. Move Function selector lever to the panel position. Using control cable removal tool, disconnect function selector cable housing end retainer from A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable self-adjust clip from cam pin, Fig. 15.
4. Remove instrument panel finish center.
5. Remove four screws attaching control assembly to instrument panel.
6. Pull control assembly out from instrument panel.
7. Using control cable removal tool T83P-18532-AH, disconnect the temperature cable, outside/recirc cable and function cable housings from control mounting bracket, then disconnect cables from the control lever.
8. Disconnect electrical connectors, and remove control assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
