Multifunction Switch

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models with tilt steering column, move column to lowest position, then remove tilt lever and key release lever.
3. Remove ignition lock from column.
4. Remove upper and lower steering column shrouds.
5. Remove wiring harness retainer, then the three multi-function switch wiring connectors.
6. Remove multi-function switch attaching screws, then disengage switch from casting.
7. Remove switch from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque multi-function switch attaching screws to 18-27 in lb.
b. Torque tilt lever attaching screw to 6-8 in lb.
