FUEL SYSTEM - FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT AND SERVICE TIPS

ISSUE: The fuel tank vapor vent hose that connects the right hand side and left hand side of the fuel tank requires some special attention when servicing or replacing the fuel tank. The fuel vapor vent hose must not be routed between the driveshaft and the subframe.

ACTION: Route the fuel vapor vent hose over the subframe and over the fuel vapor vent hose retainer as shown in Figure 1.
