Manual Lever Position (MLP) Sensor

Description: The Manual Lever Position (MLP) Sensor sends a signal to the processor assembly. This indicates the position the shift lever (P, R, N, D, 2, or 1). The MPL is located on the outside of the transmission at the manual lever.

Transmission function: Determine desired gear and TV pressure

Symptoms: Harsh engagements, firm shift feel

Test codes: 67 (this code also displays if A/C on during self test or self test run in neutral)
