Fig. 14 Control cable removal tool:

1. Move mode selector lever to the MAX A/C position. Using control cable removal tool T83P-18532-AH, Fig. 14, disconnect the air inlet cable housing end retainer from A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable from inlet door cam.

2. Move Temperature control lever to Cool position. Using control cable removal tool T83P-18532-AH, Fig. 14, disconnect temperature control cable housing and retainer from the A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable from temperature door crank arm, Fig. 16.
3. Move function selector lever to PANEL position. Using control cable removal too T83P-18532-AH, Fig. 14, disconnect cable housing end retainer from the A/C case bracket, then disconnect cable self-adjust clip from cam pin.
4. Remove four screws attaching control assembly to I/P.
5. Pull control assembly out from I/P.
6. Disconnect cable housings from control mounting bracket, Fig. 14.
7. Disconnect cables from control levers.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
9. Adjust cables as described under ``Control Cables, Adjust.''
