Fig. 15 Recirc-Fresh air door cable:

1. Remove radio/heater control panel bezel attaching screws, then the bezel.
2. Remove radio, then the four screws holding control assembly to I/P.
3. Remove glove box attaching screws and the glove box.
4. Remove retaining clip and disconnect recirc/fresh air door cable from door operating box opening, Fig. 15.
5. Disconnect mode selector cable from function control lever, then disconnect temperature control cable.
6. Pull control assembly away from I/P and disconnect wiring from blower motor switch.
7. Disconnect illumination lamp wiring connector, then remove control assembly paying attention to routing of cables.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
