Disassembly and Assembly of Subassemblies

ASSEMBLE FORWARD GEAR TRAIN

Exploded View Of Forward Gear Train Assembly:






1. Assemble forward clutch to reverse/high clutch, positioning No. 5 thrust washer between them.
2. Assemble forward planet gear carrier to internal gear with needle bearing thrust washer No. 8 between them.
3. Position integral thrust washer into forward clutch.
4. Install front planet assembly into forward clutch.
5. Position needle bearing washer into forward planet gear carrier and install clutch hub and sun gear.
