Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect sensor electrical connector from wiring harness.
3. Remove crankshaft sensor mounting screws, then the sensor.

Installation

1. Position sensor assembly, then install two retaining screws.
2. Torque sensor mounting screws to 75-106 inch lbs.
3. Route sensor wiring harness, connect electrical connector, then the battery cable.
