AIR CONDITIONING - FX-15 COMPRESSOR - MANIFOLD AND TUBE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

FORD:

ISSUE:
An A/C compressor manifold and tube assembly replacement chart has been developed for 1989-1994 model vehicles equipped with the FX-15 compressor. Due to numerous model changes, some dealers have had difficulty locating the correct part numbers for a particular vehicle application.

ACTION:
If service is required, refer to the Parts Application Chart, Figure 1, for correct parts usage.

EXAMPLE

^ If the A/C compressor manifold and tube assembly on 1992-1993 vehicles requires replacement, replace the manifold and tube assembly with a new design part (F30Y-19D734-A).

^ When installing the new manifold and tube assembly, also install a revised accumulator and suction hose (F20Y-19C836-A).

^ If only the accumulator and suction hose requires replacement, it is not necessary to replace the manifold and tube assembly to assure proper fit.
