AFFECTED VEHICLES
All 1990 Model Year Taurus Police Cars built from Job # 1 through August 13, 1990.
REASONS FOR RECALL
The steel road wheels may exhibit cracks in the center (spider) between the lug holes and the rim.
Cracks in this area may result in the rim separating from the spider. A total separation could result in the loss of control which could lead to a vehicle crash.
To correct this condition, dealers are to replace all five wheels, per car, with new steel road wheels.
