Output Shaft: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Exploded View Of Output Shaft:

1. Remove ring gear retaining output shaft hub to ring gear.
2. Separate output shaft and hub assembly from ring gear.
3. Remove direct clutch from ring gear and the No. 8 needle bearing from back of direct clutch.
4. Remove four output shaft seal rings and the hub to output shaft retaining ring and separate hub from output shaft.
5. Remove two direct clutch seal rings from output shaft.

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse procedure to assemble.
