Removal and Replacement

Throttle Body:






REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the Air Bypass Valve Assembly connector from the wiring harness.
2. Remove the two Air Bypass Valve retaining bolts.
3. Remove the Air Bypass Valve and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Ensure that both throttle body and Air Bypass Valve gasket surfaces are clean.
2. Install gasket on throttle body surface and mount Air Bypass Valve Assembly, securing it with two retaining screws to 87 lb. in. (10 N-m).
3. Connect electrical connector for Air Bypass Valve.
