Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove the steering wheel.






2. Remove the four retaining screws from the steering column lower cover. Remove the lower cover.

3. Remove the steering column upper cover.

4. Disconnect the three multi-function switch electrical connectors.

5. Remove the multi-function switch retaining screw.




6. Pull the multi-function electrical connectors from the retaining brackets and remove the switch.

Installation

1. Press the multi-function switch electrical connectors into the retaining brackets and position the multi-function switch.

2. Install the multi-function switch retaining screw.

3. Connect the three multi-function switch electrical connectors.

4. Install the steering column upper cover.

5. Position the steering column lower cover and install the four retaining screws.

6. Install the steering wheel.

7. Check for proper operation.
