PAINT - PROTECTION - AVAILABILITY OF STONE SHIELD PROTECTION KITS


LIGHT TRUCK: 1991-92 EXPLORER


ISSUE:
Stone Shield Protection Kits are now available for dealer installation. They are intended to be used only after a repair is made for peeling or chipped paint to prevent a repeat paint repair.

ACTION:
Install Stone Shield Protection Kits as required. The kits contain the following items.

^ Urethane pre-cut shields which are applied to the bottom of the quarter panel between the door openings and the rear wheel openings on 2-door models and to the bottom of the rear door and the quarter panel dog-leg on 4-door models.

^ A Squeegee with a low friction sleeve.

^ An Instruction Sheet.


Refer to the Instruction Sheet included in each kit for installation details and the parts block for correct parts usage.
