Clutch Switch: Description and Operation
On Manual Transmission (M/T) applications, the
clutch interlock switch indicates to the electronic control module if the clutch pedal is fully DEPRESSED, making it possible to change the range shift from 4H to 4L, or from 4L to 4H.
