Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disengage push pin retainers from right and left inner kick panel and remove panels
3. Remove mounting bolts from Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) floorpan bracket.

Electronic Control Assembly Removal:






4. Slide ECA toward the driver side and unplug ECA electrical connectors.

5. Remove ECA from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Electronic Control Assembly Removal:






1. Connect electrical connectors to ECA..
2. Install ECA to floorpan bracket and install mounting bolts.
3. Install left and right kick panels to center console and secure with removed push pins.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
