Mirrors: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in the ACCY or RUN position, voltage is applied to the Remote Control Mirror Switch. the Right and Left Power Mirrors can be adjusted by a single push button control switch. The L-R select switch, located next to the control switch, chooses the mirror to be adjusted. Each mirror is controlled by a Remote Control Mirror Motor, which consists of two motors. One motor shifts the mirror from left to right or vice versa. The other motor shifts the mirror from up to down or vice versa.

Adjustment of the mirrors is made by pressing the control switch in the desired direction of operation. The remote Control Mirror Switch supplies a ground to the appropriate motor in the Remote Control Mirror Motor. The motor operates in the direction the control switch is pressed until the switch is released.
