Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove the caliper anchor bracket. Support the caliper assembly with string from the coil spring. It is not necessary to remove the caliper from the flex hose.
3. Remove the rotor.

CAUTION: Handle rotor and caliper assembly in such a way as to prevent deformation of rotor, and nicking, scratching or contamination of brake linings/rotor surfaces.

INSTALLATION:
1. Attach the rotor to the hub.
2. Install the caliper anchor bracket.
3. Torque caliper bolts to 78-98 Nm (58-72 ft lb).
4. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
