Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove high tension lead from ignition coil terminal.
3. Remove primary wire harness from ignition coil.
4. Remove two bracket nuts and remove the coil and bracket assembly.
5. Loosen clamp screw on coil bracket and remove coil.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert ignition coil into bracket and tighten clamp screw.
2. Install coil and bracket assembly.
3. Install primary wiring harness on ignition coil.
4. Install high tension lead into coil center terminal.
5. Reconnect negative battery cable.
