Speed Gradually Increases or Decreases After Speed Is Set

Poor speed control performance may be due to engine torque limitations depending on terrain, speed, payload, wind or altitude.
1. Ensure proper operation of bead chain and actuator cable. If satisfactory, proceed to step 2. If not satisfactory, adjust or replace as necessary.
2. Ensure proper operation of vacuum dump valve. If satisfactory, proceed to step 3. If not satisfactory, adjust or replace as necessary.
3. Perform tests on servo. If satisfactory, proceed to step 4. If not satisfactory, replace servo.
4. Perform tests on amplifier. If satisfactory, proceed to step 5. If not satisfactory, replace amplifier.
5. Examine all connectors to ensure proper contacts.
