This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- Harness circuits: CID (+), CID (-), CID, SIG RTN

- CID Sensor

- Processor assembly


DESCRIPTION


The EEC-IV processor uses CID sensor information for fuel injection synchronization. The CID signal is also input to the DIS module and is generated by a hall device with a 50 percent duty cycle and an amplitude that varies from 0.4 volts to VBAT.
