Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Component Location:





1. Locate Pressure Feedback EGR (PFE) sensor located in the throttle body with a hose connect to the EGR supply tube.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from sensor.
3. Remove sensor by unscrewing retaining bolt(s) and disconnecting hose.



INSTALLATION


1. Install the PFE sensor on the intake manifold.
2. Tighten the sensor retaining bolt to 6-8 ft lb (8-11.5 Nm).
3. Connect vacuum lines to the sensor.
4. Connect the electrical connector to sensor.
