Preliminary Inspection

The following items must be checked before proceeding:

- Check Fluid Level/Condition
- Vehicle at Normal Operating Temperature
- Visual Inspection of Harness Connections/Wiring
- Were On-Board Diagnostics Run?
- Check for Leaks
- Check for Electronic add-on Items
- Check for Vehicle Modifications
- Check Shift Linkage for Proper Adjustment
- Validate Customer Concern (When does condition exist?)
- Upshift
- Downshift
- Coasting
- Engagement
- Noise/Vibration

Determine if noise/vibration is related to the following:
-RPM
-Vehicle
-Shift
-Gear
